Marlane Angle received her PhD in Physiology in 1983 from Auburn University and then completed two NIH funded postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, TX, and Southwestern Medical School, Dallas, TX. She trained in IVF at the University of California, San Francisco in the late eighties, became a High Complexity Laboratory Director in 1994 and has been both an onsite and offsite laboratory director for IVF programs and Andrology labs in Albuquerque, NM; Asheville, Greensboro and Winston-Salem, NC; Las Vegas, NV; Little Rock, AR; Madison, WI, Phoenix, AZ; Rochester, NY; San Francisco, CA; and Seattle, WA.


She has worked as a consultant or served on the Scientific Advisory Boards for multiple companies including Butterfly, Overture, HealthinCode, InvoCell, Irvine Scientific, Previvo Genetics, ZyMot, the World Egg Bank and Zephyr Analytics. She has also taught in both the Master’s and the PhD programs at Eastern Virginia Medical School. In addition, she has published more than 70 papers, abstracts and chapters, been President of the Reproductive Laboratory Special Interest group of ASRM, is incoming president for the CRB group of the American Association of Bioanalysts, has served on multiple committees within ASRM, is one of the founders and currently President of the Board of Directors for the Southwest Embryology Summit and has been one of the organizers of the Madison Clinical Embryology Summit meeting. She currently splits her time between homes in Bremerton, WA and Oliva, Spain when she isn’t traveling for work.
